Livestreaming and Butterflies

One thing you might not have experienced is the pressure that comes with livestreaming an event 😅Mnaonanga watu wakichekacheka lakini deep down, Maina let me tell you…You have to deal with the pressure as it comes and shake it off. In livestreaming, you have to perfect the art of covering up for any errors. We are not perfect, aren’t we?

While doing a normal recording, you can correct your mistakes in post-production or rather you can ask the client to just re-do the take(You can easily blame it on an innocent fly that it rested on the lens). This might not be possible while doing a livestream. Imagine mtaangaliana na client macho kwa macho…na ukicheza they will approach you😂

Remember my opening line(the one with a punch by Ben Carson), you have to plan to detail before undertaking any job. This is done to ensure that the margin of error is minimal. No matter how well you have planned for any livestreaming job, you will always get these butterflies in your tummy that come out of nowhere.
